Current Projects
I am compiling a database of manuscripts in French associated with medieval England, with a particular focus on those containing texts written Continental French. This database currently comprises some 1,000 surviving items in North American and European libraries.
I am co-editing with Hannah Ryley a special issue for Digital Philology on the topic of big data and manuscript studies.
In addition to my book project, I am also working on lost books in medieval Europe, on medieval translation, and on heraldic manuscripts.
